    I get blank calls all the time from blocked numbers. I'd presume it was telemarketers rather than pranking.

    Actually sometimes the calls occur on prominant dates such at 11:30 christmas night, this is another reason why I think it could possibly be him...

    Yeah I agree, you don't have to put up with that nonsense. Get your number changed. It's a pain, but if you've been in contact with the phone company about it they'll probably do it for free as it's due to harassment.

    Sounds like if it IS him and you change your number, he'd find a way to get in contact with you afterwards so you'd be able to confirm it that way I guess.

    Id be changing my number asap and making it a private number too so its not listed making it harder for any future harassment

    I just called Vodafone and they are not prepared to action a report UNLESS the calls have a frequency of 10 per day OR 3+ over a 24-120 HOUR period! I am resolved now to changing my number and my phone company... thank you all so much for your thoughts.
