Default Stomach muscle separation ... Surgery

My stomach muscles separated during my pregnancies and now that we are finished having kids I am meeting with a dr at the rwh brisbane to hopefully get them fixed so I can have a flat belly instead of what looks like a five month pregnant belly. Has anyone got any experience or stories they can share about this? I have my hospital appointment on monday.

Have got some exercises for my transverse abdominis muscles and have cut out several possible allergens from my diet and have lost 1cm off my stomach over night, after one day. Could be the start of something very exciting!!!

Wow you are lucky to get it fixed for free. I had my muscles separate badly and they deemed it as cosmetic and so I had to pay for it to be fixed.

I had planned to do this next year. Mine was deemed medically necessary so i am eligible for medicare rebates and private health rebates so the total cost would have been around $5000, much less than without the rebates.
