Default Naturopath and success with natural conception.

Anyone had success naturally conceiving and seeing a naturopath?
Last year I had 10 weeks of acupuncture with no success and now I'm looking into seeing a naturopath.
I'm in Melbourne and ive booked in to seeing Anne Digby apparently she works along side fertility specialists for ivf, but I'm hoping there are success of natural conception.

    Thanks for reading

    Hey there

A quick run down on my story. I fell pregnant naturally after 3 cycles but sadly miscarried. Long story short, thanks to my naturopath, I discovered that I have Hashimoto's and am now being treated with thyroxine. Turns out, had my darling bubba held on, he had a very high chance of being born with liver or kidney disease and worse, brain malformation.

I guess what I wanted to let you know is that there is always a reason as to why these things don't happen. I would definitely recommend a naturopath and especially one who specialises in fertility. They know exactly what to look for but at the end of the day you also need to listen to your body. I went through three .. yes three reproductive endocronoligists because I knew something wasn't right with me. I am now seeing the medical director of IVF Australia and he has been amazing! Along with him, my GP and my naturopath, my health has improved in leaps and bounds and I finally feel as though my body is ready to carry and sustain a baby. It's been 5 long months since my D&C and although I haven't fallen pregnant as yet, I know it's only a matter of time.

Best of luck to you and please remember to listen to your body. Only you can know your body.

Thankyou so much firsttimemummy for sharing your story. I'm so sorry for your losses. You sound like such a strong person after what you have been through. I wish you lots and lots of luck and for your journey.

I'm really hoping to get something out of this. Even if it's to make me healthier that is a bonus.
