Default Funny First Time Pregnant thoughts.

I was thinking today about things I thought when I was pregnant with my first..

I remembered thinking how scared I was to poo during labour...

When I was in labour and looking back now, it was so far from my mind!
I could have pooped all over everyone and not cared!!

What did you think during pregnancy that looking back you find funny?

About everyone seeing my whoo haa, being 'nicely groomed' etc for when they had to see it. I had DS 4 weeks early and it was so quick. Whoo haa was hairy and i couldnt of cared less when i was being checked. I had a c-section so there is a possibility i wasnt fully covered for that.

For the next one, i dont mean to offend anyone truely but when i was about 10weeks i cried for a couple of nights at the thought i'd put on weight and never loose my baby weight - Ended up only putting on 6kgs and lost 12kgs months after having bub. I ended up underweight.

I thought I looked fabulous in my hot pants at 38 weeks. Haha oh how I was wrong, looking back at the photos I cringe every time!

Also while I was in labour I made an effort to "tidy" up my down stairs, I only got half of it done as my contractions started to really kick in. I totally forgot about it until exDH mentioned it in the birthing suite! I was mortified.

I imagine it's the raw egg in the uncooked cake batter that would be a no no

yep the raw egg in cake batter.

worrying about pooing, worried over how undressed i was going to be in front of strangers, DH seeing my whoo haa like that.

once in labour i didn't care one bit to any of these, in fact i think the first thing i said to the midwife was "i feel like i need to poop."

Also stressed about the bleeding and possible leaks at unfortunate times afterwards.
This as well was nothing to stress over and I brought WAY too many maternity pads.

Still worried of having a c-section in the future, thankfully i got the natural drug free birth I wanted.

Haha well I'm currently 7w and I'm most worried about pooping during labour, closely followed by people seeing my lady bits and whether I should wax for the birth (I normally do it myself, which could be hard with a big belly, so I'm thinking who cares!) Haha I'm loving hearing that when you're actually in labour that these things don't bother you. Although, it is scary to think that you're in so much pain that you don't care if you poop in front of strangers lol!!!

Yes waxing!! I am 33 weeks pregnant and have a wax appointment at 36 weeks but by due date I'll be hairy so I'll have to push my appointment a few weeks later!

Also scared of what my vajayjay is going to be LIke after I have this horrible image in my mind which is like something from a 'saw' movie :/

Oh and the baby belly!!! Iv been overweight for a couple of years and I was like 10 kg away from my perfect weight then I fell pregnant ... I'm so scared I wont reach my goal ever!!!
