    Default Breakthrough Bleeding

I've just been doing some 'googling" as I have had some spotting over the last week. One cause I've found was "breakthrough bleeding" which can occur when your period would be due. I've gone though my dates and the spotting started a day before my period would have been due.

Just curious if anyone else has had any experiences with this?

I thought I had my period the first time! The difference was that it was a couple of days shorter than normal and my boobs were still sore afterwards. Had a little spotting again at 8 weeks and then nothing. Second bub I had nothing and this one I have had it a little at the 8 week mark again.
    I wonder why it happens?

    Default Breakthrough Bleeding

Yes....I had what I thought was my period so when I started to dry retch on my way to work I was quite confused...As we were TTC I took a preg test and came up Positive. If I hadn't had pregnancy on the brain I probably wouldn't have picked it up until the next month - although I'm not sure how I would have explained the morning sickness...the bleeding was lighter than my usual period but enough for me to think it was my period.
