    We rent a granny flat out the back of MIL's. Saving for our home

    Can I ask how people paid their homes off Just seems impossible. Lol

    We own (mortgaged) and have done for about 5 years, onto 3rd house tho!

    we rent the house we live in.
    we own a place outright..
    and we have a new mortgage on another place.

    We own (with mortgage).
    We were able to buy as we lived with parents-in-law for 12 months, some of it when I was on mat leave(with no income) so we could save the rest of what we needed for the deposit.

    We rent and we probably will for a long, long time.
    I'm ok with it I guess but I really would like to own one day.

    We rent but will be buying next year. I despise renting.
