One of DD's friends is Charli. She also has another friend nicknamed Charli, fullname Charlise.

I prefer Charlie for a boy, I like Charlie as a nick name for Charlotte or another name that can be shortened to Charlie.

I don't lke it at all for a girl especially with how popular it is at the moment. I think it's very bogan and hate it most as charli. That's ridic

    Default Charlie for a girl??

I really like Charlie for a girl. I do not like Charli, Charlee, Charley or any other spelling aberration. I think it's adorable on both boys and girls.

Sorry I have totally gone off it. There's a girls in my daughters class and it's spelt Char-Lee which I think is really bogan with the hyphen in it!

I quite like it (DH loves it), but would perhaps prefer it as a nickname. The only names I can think of that can be shortened to Charlie are Charlotte and Charlize - other suggestions would be appreciated!!
    I always loved that name....

I LOVE Charlie for a girl.

Mainly because we know the cutest little girl called Charlie. Everyone loves her and her name suits her.

Horrid. Char isn't a name in its own, so it can't be hyphenated. The point of a hyphen is to join two existing names together. Not hyphenate syllables. That's truly an awful name.
