    thanks. had my pre op appointment today with the nurse, surgeon and anethetist(sp) aand had a panic attack and couldnt stop crying. now i feel shakey and low on sugar because of all the crying. when distressed i feel really sick like i want to vomit Nd get a bad headache and stuff so i dont feel nice atm. they all assured me that i will be safe (still didnt help) and i tried to stay as relaxed as possi le but nothing worked to relax me. they have made a note of me being traumitised and will chat to me in thd morning about it and make zure im ok. i have anxiety and aam usually fairly anxious but today was the worst ive been ever and i couldnt stop rubbing my leg with my hand or moving. i probably look really crazy. wow i babbled on there. it was not meant to be thT long, sorry. i have to be there aT 7am.

    do you have any rescue remedy or can you get some?? i find that it really helps me to feel calmer. a few times i've had emergency surgery and have been freaking out and i've taken it and felt a bit better. Try not to think about it too much that always makes it worse.

    Just keep thinking of all the foods you will be able to eat once you wake up you can actually eat again without the fear of an attack

    no i dont. where do you get it from. i have to fast from 12pm so i might not be allowed anythin like that.. will check it out though. thanks. yeah i cant wait to eat what i want again. will be great! youve changed your username. i recognise the lamp and the love lamp thing, but cant figure out what your old un was. *gets my detective clothes on* lol

    I think you sniff Bach rescue remedy. You can get it from chemists.

    Bach rescue remedy is great. You can get spray from chemist. Only need two sprays

    Ask for valium when you get to the clinic hun!!!! I was really nervous at my last surgery and my Dr noticed so he gave me something to relax.... Within mins I was giggly and those nerves had disappeared x
