    We have our mortgage.

I am curious to know why people with multiple debts (ie: credit card, car loan, personal loan etc) don't speak to a financial institution about consolidating the debt so they only have one debt to pay. I'm not being rude, I just wonder if people actually know its an option in some cases.

We've looked into consolidating but were knocked back due to me not currently working :-( Once I start getting PPL it will all be going towards debt which will knock out at least 2 of the debts :-)

Paying off my credit card ($3000) which I no longer use. Dropped the limit by $1000k in a month

And I have about $13000 in HECS but I'm just going to let the government deal with that (through my working).

Pretty happy as the CC will be done by Christmas. We have a fair bit in savings but I don't want to put it all in the CC now because we may need it in a few months for fertility treatment.

    Just mortgage - 2 land loans $120k.

Currently owe my dad $750 which wont take long to pay back, and we owe our conveyancer $2500 as we subdivided.

Once those 2 are paid off its just the mortgage!
