    Default Opinions needed urgently re wedding attire...

    Need your opinion.... Is it okay to wear a cream/off white dress to a wedding? It's knee length and sleeveless with Peter pan collar. It's not too bridey is it???

    Are you close to the bride?

    Personally I wouldn't wear it (but it sounds beautiful)! Then again having also been a bride, I probably wouldn't even notice what my guests were wearing!

    To evening reception I would say ok but I wouldn't have been happy if someone had turned up to my wedding ceremony in white!

    Do you have a pic? I doubt I'd wear anything white to a wedding though? Maybe that's just silly these days. The bride might be wearing black!

    This is a really hard one... Depends on the bride... The general rule is no! However I had a couple of people wear white to mine & I didn't really care... I guess it's not floor length so it's a plus... I'd suggest maybe use block colour with it so you don't look like you ate part of the bridal party, maybe a colored cardi?! Hope I've helped...

    Personally I wouldn't but if you had jacket/shawl (different colour) with accessories you could possibly pull it off.

    I went to a wedding recently and had doubts about my dress (thought it was too similar to bridesmaids) so showed the bride and she said it was fine and thanked me for asking. Maybe you could check with the bride?
