Vetttc honey I am so sorry too. I don't know what to say, this just doesn't get any easier does it. :'( Some of us really do get way too much bad luck Biggest hugs from this veteran who doesn't want to be one any more. Surely we have all earned our stripes and this is enough? XX

    Hi vetttc,

Hope you don't feel I'm intruding on your thread it just came up in my thread and your post about donor eggs caught my eye. Just wanted to send you some extra kind thoughts and support and let you know there are egg donors out there.

I am currently on my second donation cycle and would be happy to give you some info as to where to look and what this entails if or when you are ready for it. The strength you ladies have for continuing to fight for your dreams is incredible and a great inspiration.

Sending hugs and baby sticky dust
    Amelia

hi Vetttc, there are two main forums where you can find an egg donor. Aussie Egg Donors and Egg Donation Australia. They are both very different forums in terms of feel. EDA is bigger and you can post an ad straight away. AED is smaller and you need to post regularly for 4 weeks and have a minimum of 20 posts before you can put an ad up. PM me privately if you'd like to know more about them and my experiences on both. Being an egg donation recipient can be an incredibly positive experience.

    Hi Amelia,
Thanks so much for your post, it is amazing to me that anyone would go through the IVF process for somebody they don't know, I can't begin to imagine how anyone could be so generous. I would LOVE to get your advice - can I PM you?

    Hi vetttc,

You are more than welcome to pm me for info, I would love to share and would love to be able to help you.

I would consider chatting to you about donating to yourself but unfortunately I am committed to a long down regulated cycle for my current ips which won't finish till early July and may go for them again depending on how things go with this cycle. So probably a much longer wait than you would have if you were to start actively looking.

I do know of several donors who are looking for recipients over the next few weeks so may be able to connect you.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Kind regards Amelia

    Hi vetttc,

I have PMed you, sorry if it comes through more than once, I'm on a rural internet connection and I swear my computer hates me.

    Hugs Amelia

Hi Amelia, do you mind me asking if you and the other donors you know are on a particular forum? I'm not in a position to look for an egg donor now but might in the future and would love to know where to go besides the forums I already use.

    Hi net,

The majority of the donors I know are part of a support group for egg donation Australia (fantastic forum run by some amazing people so if you aren't on it do so). They patrol EDA frequently and the admins keep a current thread of recipients searching for donors with links back to your personal thread. I find myself there more often than I should and keep falling in love with IPs I unfortunately can't help as this last cycle has dragged on so long but luckily they don't seem to be around long.

My best advice would be to have a chat to the page admin Mel whose username is beautiful hope from memory and make sure you read the 11 things not to do thread in the donor category as these are really important and the things most donors will skip over your ad for.

Best of luck and baby dust
    Amelia
