Yeah, I called at the 7 week mark, was told that they were behind and might hear something in 2 more weeks. Get the call today to be told we were declined... 5 points short of acceptance... Not happy at all..

I've now been waiting more than 7 weeks for my JET claim to be approved. Meanwhile I've been studying the whole time and have wracked up a $500+ bill with the day care centre.

First it was going to take 2-3 weeks, then 5 weeks, then 6 weeks. 7 weeks later and I'm still waiting!!!

I applied mid feb too. I'll be screwed if they don't approve mine. Are you a single mum?

No, I was applying for Carers allowance/pension for my son who is classed as disabled... been seeing specialists and what have you for over a year. He got knocked back because his 'test' was 5 points short of acceptance. So I have to appeal now.
