    Hi ladies

Havnt posted in a while but have been reading all your updates.

This baby product stuff is a whole new world to me so I've got no advice or opinions as yet.

Does anyone know if sterilizes are worth buying?

We are starting to look around for things now and planning to purchase all our goods from the one store when the christmas sales hit.

We had our morphology scan last week and found out its a baby boy so we can start planning the nursery now too

    Congrats! Boys are the best!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't get a steriliser as my hospital told me we don't need them!
I just washed in really hot soapy water and rinsed in boiling water (2 sinks set up) Apparently as soon as the air touches the bottle after a sterilisation it is void! thats what they told me 2 years ago anyway!
I got a great drying rack from Boon (the grass looking one) and that was perfect for all baby 'stuff'

12 week scan in 2 days! eeeekkkkk!!!!!!!
Im still celebrating the lack of GD.. I'm so happy!

adden, awesome news on the GD test, hope you enjoy that little bit of chocolate!

    motherwillbe, congrats a little boy!

Dummies I am not sure about, I have bought 2 but not getting anymore, will see what happens with the little one! Geez haven't even thought about bottles.

We got some paint samples for bubs room on the weekend, but don't think I am happy with our 3 choices so off to bunnings again on the weekend.

hope you ladies are all well, this thread just takes off sometimes!

I agree with hot soapy water.. I work in healthcare and have been involved in infection control.. Not necessary to sterilize.. My Obs didn't with all his kids. Also the hospitals use Milton for babies bottles, no sterilizing. Each to their own of course.

I use iPad, you hold over the persons name and options pop up. Not sure with computers tho.

My husband started our nursery today :-) finished the undercoat in one day... We'll pick the colour in the next couple of weeks, going to do blue with clouds on one wall with hot air balloons, can't wait!
