Apart from the fact it's open, it's the brand that is making babies sick and she knows that :-(
I personally not take it, and if I were her I would be just tipping it down the sink.

I'd be ok with it being from a friend (except it's the brand that has made babies, including her own, very sick) but from a stranger I would be too worried about contamination. Has it really only been opened a short time, or was it opened 8 weeks ago and they say they opened it that week? Are they bad people and laced it with something? You just never know, that's my worry. Like car seats, I can trust a friend or family member but not the general public.

surely you're not helping the starving babies of the world by making another baby sick??? bizarre comment to make .. ??

there is no WAY I would buy an open tin of formula ... I actually returned one to the supermarket once because when I got it home it was partially open

if the formula is causing issues, hasn't there been a recall??

Not all babies are reacting that way, but many who commented on the post had been to the doctors or even in hospital from it, including the person giving it away. I think if they change the ingredients they should put a warning on it, after all there are warnings about not suddenly changing brands so why can they get away with that?
