I am in my first cycle of IVF and had a 5 day blastocyst transferred last Wednesday. After the doctor removed the catheter there was a small amount of blood on the catheter. While he told me that it was from my cervix and not my uterus, I have since read some info that the presence of blood on the catheter after transfer significantly reduces your chances of the embryo "sticking".
Has anyone else had a similar experience? Did anyone get a BFP afterwards? I am really starting to stress myself out about it.
