    Default Book Week Questions

First Book Week for DS...his last school didnt do the costume thing and just had the books.....this year, at his new school, we need a costume.
    The schools theme is 'Champions'.
DS has asked to go as The Flash.....thanks kid, why not find a costume that is easy to find

SO, experienced Book Week mothers......can costumes be bought or is it supposed to be a home made job? I am not creative at all and have no idea how I am supposed to come up with a Flash costume unless I buy it.

Also, throw ideas at me for EASY 'Champion' book week costume ideas....perhaps I can persuade DS to change his mind.

My DD wore a Scooby Doo outfit and took her Scooby Doo Phonics books to school with her on the day last year, this year she has a Harry Potter costume (Hermione Granger) that she will wear. I can't remember Prep but Year 1 I just put her in red and white stripes and she was "Where's Wally"

Yeah buy one if you want to! There's no rules, it's just all about celebrating books and favourite characters etc. I love book week!!
