Just a little fun, I'm curious to hear from other parents out there.
When I was pregnant I had all these expectations and plans of what I was going to do/not do when I became a parent.
Three weeks into motherhood and most of it has already gone out the window!
For example, I said I wouldn't use a dummy, but in the middle of the night when he won't settle I'm begging him to take it!
I also didn't want to co-sleep, but it's currently working a lot better for us.
I know of someone who used to judge other mums for giving their kids soft drinks, but now gives her kids ice-cream for breakfast! lol...
I was just wondering if anyone else does or allows things they never thought they would?

Things you said you'd never do, that you do!

I said I'd never use a dummy or co sleep but I did both
I also said I'd never let my kids eat junk food but I do let them have it occasionally.
I'm sure there are more but I can't think at the moment.

Never use cloth nappies (ordered 2 to try and now love using them)
I had all sorts of funny ideas about what I would be like as a parent that turned out to be wayyy off

The main thing is food. I always planned on being very strict with healthy foods and keeping junk and treats for special occassions, but my kids get treats daily. Oops.

Lots and lots
Dummy, bottles to bed, rocking/patting to sleep.
Tv before 2yrs old, healthy foods and no treats or juice ever
All gone out the window and I have even considered using a back pack harness because she is so independant and wants to walk instead of be in the pram
