    Default Mucus Plug.

I had a internal yesterday to see how my cervix is ready for induction on Monday. It's has now seem to help my mucus plug out since last night I'm 36+5.

Has anyone had it happen to them before after a internal?

Hi, how are you holding up? I have had a little blood and mucus after an exam but not enough to say it is my plug. I had a few midwives say that a cervical exam can trigger labour so perhaps it is.

I'm holding up ok. Cant wait for Monday to come & go so we can meet our little bub.

I didn't lose my mucus plug with DS, so I am happy that this time I am losing it & on my own.

That's great! I've got everything crossed for you that you have a great birth.

I never had an internal during my pregnancy, but I did lose part of my plug at about 33-34 weeks.
