Overall we're about even - my return will almost pay off my partner's tax bill (he's self employed).
However I've already got my return, and he'll wait until necessary (it's either October or November) to pay his. In the mean time, it's in our mortgage account reducing our interest.

I paid some bills due at the time, bought DS2's b'day presents and the rest is sitting in my account and will be used to cover contents and car insurance, car servicing and all expenses associated with moving with the next couple of months.

I bought a Nespresso Lattissima machine. DF is buying a welder. The rest we are putting in savings as I am on mat leave at the moment.

We've only just given everything to the accountant, but I am hoping we get enough to pay off our CC, get a few things on my car fixed, and put the rest on the mortgage.
