    Default Gas conversions (on cars)

Has anyone done it? How much did you pay? Do you find you're saving a heap on running costs now ?

Basically, in your opinion... Is it worth it?

We have our 2003 commodore converted. We did it when we could get the rebate, I think in total we were our of pocket $2000 or something as DF insisted on the best system. It's fantastic ATM we pay about $30-$35 a tank (which is around 58litres) and that gets us around 380-420 km per tank depending on the driving we do. We only put petrol in now and then as our system requires petrol for start up and injects extra fuel in a situation when we require more power than the gas can provide (eg. Sudden acceleration or driving in mountains) we can also manually control between gas and fuel also. I can't speak more highly of it, it's saved us a bunch since we got it.. And a little extra bonus is if your lazy and can't be bothered going to the petrol station you have the back up of fuel on the tank... Lol.

Oh and comparatively with us running solely on petrol we pay at least $80 a tank and get maybe 450kms.
