Default Do you get contacted if your NT scan/bloods show an abnomality?

I had an NT scan a couple days ago, along with bloods and i was told the scan looked 'okay' (but the way the tech was acting makes me feel otherwise) but would be sent to the doctor to look at, as would the blood work. I assume if it's not good they will call me, right?
I have this paranoia that i will get to my next appointment (2 months away) and discovered my baby has serious problems and they never told me :/
I'm being a crazy pregnant woman aren't i? Surely they are obliged to inform me of results?

This. But if you're worried you could always give them a call. I rang an hour after my scan for my results so I'm sure they would have them by now.

I found out the results at the same time I had the scan, the blood results were sent to the radiology place and the Dr. there told me the results about 10 minutes after the scan, I am going private though so I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

I didn't. I had the scan, I was told everything was fine (which it was- it was the bloods that were 'off'). So I assumed everything was ok. Went as normal to my next OB appointment (I was a private patient) and he said- pretty casually actually- that my chances of having a baby with down syndrome were 1:256.

I was 15 weeks at this point and I was pretty annoyed! I never had an amnio and I continued with the pregnancy and just tried to not stress too much but it always bugged me that he didn't even call.

I guess you could always call if you don't hear anything, just for peace of mind.

Oh, and my DD is 3 months old now and she doesn't have down syndrome.

Fairyface- my situation was pretty much the same. Scan perfect. Bloods not tooo perfect- downs was ok but edwards syndrome had a 1:236. I was told 1:1:75 was the cut off for high risk for edwards but i still stressed until the 20 week scan where they told me everything was perfect and there were no markers- but bloody hell it was stressful waiting! Call in a week if you have not heard but dont stress until then- you have no reason to! xx
