Ive developed a terrible toothache and have been taking panadene for the pain, trouble is its not helping, can I take some neurofen as well?

I would depending when you last had pain killers.
I find putting vegemite on my gums helps too. Usually have to put it on fairly thickly though.

You can take nurofen with panadeine, as long as its not nurofen plus as they both have codeine in them. I found a combo of both worked wonders for my wisdom tooth pain.
