I spoke to the pharmacist today, who said she hadn't heard of the problems above. But if I'm worried, to try DS on a different formula for three to four days, and see what happens. If he gets better- bad formula - see GP to report an adverse reaction. No change, then it probably wasnt the formula.
The old formula was more like cornflour, and the newer one is heavier, and more grainy.

My friends poor DS is close to being hospitalised due to this
As it is he has many allergies and now with the change of recipe he hasn't been able to keep anything down for 6 days now
I can see many law suits as a result of this stuff up.

for those switching do you just do a straight switch from one bottle to the next or do you have to do it gradually?

So many disgruntled mums. I emailed them to complain weeks and weeks ago with no response. I'm guessing now with all this bad press they'll do something. Why bother with independent testing, just CHANGE IT BACK to what worked!
I am one of the luckier ones though, as the only problem my son has had is awful green runny poops but it doesn't distress him at all. No eczema or wind or constipation. My main problem was that they ripped us off of 100grams in product, trying to distract us all with claims of this fantastic scoop. I don't know about any of you but who gives a toss about the scoop??! If the formula works for you baby you'll use any kind of scoop you're given.
The question is, do I change out of principal and risk problems with a new formula or stay with Nestlé as I'd rather not? I'd like a solution to the poop issue but since it's not making him uncomfortable is it worth it??
