I think instead of "new and improved" they have opted for "new taste"

We were using Nan Ha Gold stage 2 and had all the same yucky symptoms. Green runny poos, unsettled, gas etc. We swapped to S26 gold and she has loved it. She settled nicely and her poos went back to normal. Such poor form on behalf of Nestlé in my opinion!! All to save a dollar too I imagine!! Lots of little Bubba's out there suffering some awful symptoms, can't all be coincidence surely??!!

I didn't notice the "New improved taste" part until last night..
I too just though the packaging had changed (great idea as it use to be a real pain with searching for the little scoop and assembling it)
I have been reading some things on the nestle baby Facebook page, and on other forums too about if the stage 2,3 formulas have changed.
I'm not to sure as we just kept dd on sage 1 but a few people have said they have noticed a change in their bubs on the stage 2&3 as well.
I just came back from our local chemist with some free samples of a few different kinds of formula.
I spoke to DDs specialist this morning and I was advised just to get a formula that was mostly Whey based, or where the casein to whey ratio was low.
The chemist has given me
Heinz nurture original.
NAN- pro (kinda wanting to stay clear of nan altogether now, but will try it if the others fail)
I just gave her some of the Heinz nurture before her nap, she loved the taste and drank it all.
The formula did froth up quite a bit but I just let it stand for 10 minuites and it seemed to settle a bit.
Now I'll just have to wait and see if it aggravates her eczema or her bowels, it does have casein in it, but not very much, her specialist said this morning it might be good to try her and just see as she is 18mo now so she might be able to handle small bits of casein.
She has another allergy test at the royal Brisbane hospital at the end of this month so if by then none of the above formulas are working for her I might just ask to go back on Neocate.
I would have weaned her onto cows milk by now, but because of her allergies and food sensitivities we have had to hold off on it.

I know I've spend $500 or so on a product that I now know has hurt my baby.
Something I thought was just normal. But it's a good thing that it's happened to others as I now know it isn't normal and I'm not alone.

Miss 7 months (on stage 2) has had horrible dry red skin for the last couple of weeks and has been screaming her head off for no apparent reason... Another nan victim or just a bad couple of weeks I wonder? Going to the shops to try another formula today poor bub.

My 4.5week old bub has been spent more time in hospital than out since she was born so as previously posted am loth to have to change formula again. I went to a couple of chemists today and bought ALL the 900g tin of the old formulation I could find lol thankgod for my PPL money starting this fortnight or I wouldn't have been able too.
I watch with baited breath to see what nestle do from here on out...... Hugs to the mummy's and daddy's who have had sick and unhappy bubbas over the last few weeks.
Also interested to see what continuing media coverage this matter gets or whether it will just be swept under the rug

DD was on the old stage 1 NAN HA and we changed to the new stage 2. She is 9 mths. The same day she was waking at night screaming, whinging and crying and grizzlies all day. Took me about a week to work out the formula had changed. Got the new stage 1 and had the same problems.
I called around all the pharmacies and found 4 tins of the old stage 1 and bought all of them. The problems stopped immediately and she is a different girl now, so happy and settled.
The old stage 1 and 2 is in a 900g tin NOT the 800g tin so is easy to identify. If you are desperate ring around all the big pharmacies and you may find some still in stock.
