Hi ladies, sorry this is a me post but I've got some news...I couldn't wait till this morning to test and did Poas last night and can't believe I got the second line. It was faint but definitely there and came up quite quickly...I was surprised that I was kind of calm and collected about it and didn't burst into tears right there...I haven't seen the 2nd line since 2007! I have no shadow of doubt it is due to dr. M's treatment!
Now just have to wait till Friday's b.t to see the hcg numbers...

bella, what is the interval between your 1st and 2nd intralipid? Were u scheduled in quickly after your beta result? I'm wondering if they are doing any during the Xmas and ny?

    thanks Crofty and Scruffy.

Crofty, regarding cost, I've seen Dr. M altogether 3 times, the consultation fee 1st round is $250 and $150 for subsequent visits and you can get some back from Medicare. The only other cost I had is $650 for Intralipid and Uterine biopsy is $450 out of pocket. I know it all adds up but comparing to my 10+ cycles of IVF, these $$ are the best I've ever invested. Good luck with the appt tomorrow, he is a very patient man and think of all the questions you have and I hope you have a plan formed before new year starts.

Crofty - I'm with Medicare, but I've hit the safety net, so when I see him its $150 but I get around $125 or so back from Medicare. Good luck for your appt, oh and bring cash as they don't have eftpos facilities

    Default High Natural Killer Cells

Oh thanks earth power - yeah that's peanuts!!! Happy to pay those amounts ( as obviously have to take into consideration the cost of an ivf stim cycle as well I was getting worried that I will be paying thousands of $$$$ in conjunction with ivf costs - I had a lap and hystoscopy in April this year so I think that is quite recent (and as there were no abnormalities I should be right with that )- I am gathering he will ask to do a biopsy which is fine as well . Thanks all for the information and I shall let you all know how I go tomorrow

    Earthpower - Woohoo!!!!
Gretchen - Congratulations - how wonderful and what a gift to be given.

I am already gearing myself up emotionally and physically for a February stim cycle and getting myself back on the dreaded prednisone 21 days before that - but that won't stop me having a glass of champagne to celebrate all of our much hoped for pregnancies this year and also to celebrate the sheer strength of every one of us. Warm wishes to all, FG
