High Natural Killer Cells
Earth power - I know exactly what you mean re the swelling! I got that too alot at the start of my pregnancy and as I didn't have a bump to show, I was assuming it was the pred. I was on the pred 30mg from week 7-12, weaned to 25mg from week 12-22... Then weaned off it 5mg every 3 days. I noticed my legs don't swell and I don't feel the pressure in my legs anymore (in saying that, my ankles swell up now but I think that's the heat + weight + pregnancy)

April, best of luck with the TWW, keep sane!

Hello to everyone,
I haven't posted for a while and wanted to congratulate those who have got their BFP and wish luck to those who are cycling
Earthpower how did you go with your intralipid treatment? How did you feel afterwards? I'm booking mine in soon and just wondering what to expect.

Gretchen, nice to hear from you. Where you are in the cycle?
Yes, I had my very first intralipid last sunday, they call it magical milk...I had it done in Hurtsville Private and I have to say it was a very pleasant experience apart from the needle being put in. Once that's done, you just relax and I found it quite relaxing and even theraputical actually. I was in about 2pm and all done before midnight. Bring your reading materials or sth to entertain you. The nurses are very nice too! Good luck with it and let us know how you go.
AFM, cycle is progressing well so far. Had my 1st b/t yesterday and seems all on track and another b/t and u/s tomorrow to see when the Ovulation is going to be. I feel a lot more settled since the 'magical milk' now is in my body and doing the right thing and timewise it is so much better than last month.
How is everyone else going? April and Scruffy, how is the TWW treating you two?
Bella, how is everything travelling with you?
Helen, is your appt with the specialist sometime this week? I hope you get answers.

I have been lurking for quite some time now and after having a year or so off any medicated TTC, I have jumped on the bandwagon again. I am also seeing Dr M and just yesterday had my ET for my 6th cycle.
After having been through 5 months of clomid, 2 IVF cycles (no luck), a laproscopy to removed endo, 5 months of zoladex, 3 more cycles at a new clinic resulting in 2 m/c's (another lap for suspected eptopic) I decided to take matters into my own hands and look a little further. It was on another forum that I found a lady who was also homozygous MTHFR and she pointed me in Dr M's Direction. She had done about 19 cycles and has given birth to a healthy bub recently.
He did a biopsy and found the NK Cells so now I am following his protocol.
My current meds are Megafol, Elevit, B12, B6, Clexane - all prescribed by my FS. Dr M has added the intralipids, Prednisolone (started at 20mg/day up to 25mg upon ET) and Doxsig (antibiotic) started 5 days pre-ET until finished.
I have to say, I too felt amazing for the 5-6 days after the intralipid and have found this cycle to be so much less traumatic than those previous. Dr M has such a wonderful, calm manner and which I think has really gone a long way in letting me feel like there is hope.
Scruffy, I also did the intralipid when you were there. I was downstairs, I did come up to see you in the morning but you had already left, talk about an amazingly mad rush - your determination is truly inspiring.
To all you other TWW's, I wish you the best of luck and babydust. I hope that every one of you ladies in this forum are all able to find the right path that leads you to your baby dreams.

Mayflower, it would have been lovely to see you. I was off at 5:30am to catch the 7am flight back to Perth!! Next time I'll plan it a bit better
April my buddy hoping the days fly by for us. I actually have been so busy moving house yesterday I've thought far less about it this time around.
Earthpower glad you enjoyed the intralipids, let hope it works it's magic!
AFM - Reading along but won't post much as no Internet yet at the new house.... Final BT is Monday, I might POAS on Sunday as it's our wedding anniversary

April, I know how you feel. Talking about the high expectations! Its hard not to...
Mayflower, hope all is going well this FET for you with Dr. M's treatment, so many of us are counting on it!
Scruffy, at least moving house is distracting you and monday will be here in no time. Oh, I can't wait for you and April to do POAS this weekend (happy anniversary BTW!). I hope you both graduate and join the Dr. M's miracle BFP group!
AFM, had another b/t and u/s and seems everything is tracking ok, I've got a nice and big follicle 17cm and lining is thickening up too. Trigger could either be tonight or tomorrow and transfer mid next week. Im trying not to get ahead of myself and one step at the time...
