OMG Liliac, that's awesome news! Were you on Dr. M's protocle? sorry I kind of lost the track a bit there....when is the b/t? Hope it will be nice and high! Of course you are right, it if works, who cares about the moon face!
Scruffy, sounds great about 10 fertilized eggs! I hope they are growing strong in the next few days and you have a smooth transfer! Have a rest and you have done the hardest part!
April, best of luck this Friday!
AFM, I just got my AF yesterday so booked in this Sunday for intralipid which seem to be much better timing than last month. I will feel more settled to get those juice into my body . I will start puregon on D4 to have a bit control over this FET cycle but apart from that, just waiting my body ready for transfer. I assume it will be around mid Dec and then seems I will know on Xmas eve if it works or not what a timing!
Seems lots happening in this thread, sending loads of sticky and pregnancy vibes to everyone!!!!

Sorry I have been MIA for so long. I needed time away to deal with everything that has been going on with me and I was spending most of my spare time on the Ashermans Syndrome thread and boards. I have just recently been diagnosed with stage 1 Ashermans Syndrome.
Some of you may remember my AF went absent after my hysteroscopy/endrometrial biopsy with Dr. M back in August? Dr. M prescribed me provera for 10 days that should of brought on a bleed. When I had no withdrawal bleed I knew something was very wrong. I called Gweneth and said I think I have a blockage. She laughed at me as said 'That would be highly unlikely'!! So I emailed Dr. M again and asked for his opinion and for the next course of action. He suggested 2 months of progynova and provera. I was certain I was already ovulating and could feel AF pain 2 weeks later so synthetic hormones wasn't going to change anything so I took matters into my own hands and did my own research.
I went to a GP and told her my situation so she suggested I have a pelvic ultrasound. When the resutls came back the GP said that everything's normal and there is no pooled blood she suggested I take progynova and provera for 2 months as per Dr. M's advise. I then challenged the GP and said I'm not quite convinced and advised her of all my research on Ashermans Syndrome telling her that a pelvic ultrasound isn't the best procedure to diagnose any blockages and it won't always detect pooled blood and/or there could be a blockage in my cervix. She then was all defensive and said to me that I'm being clouded by all the info in the net and to stop googling!!! I asked her to refer me to an A lister Ashermans Sydnrome Professer in the city and she said NO and that I should go back to my gyno (Dr. M) with any further questions! I was so upset but held it together. Cried in the car all the way home (with my poor son in the back wondering why I was so sad!).
I found another GP who was open to my findings. I asked if she would refer me to Prof V and told her about the Ashermans Australia site and all the women raving about this Dr. and I would be in the best hands with him and he'll be able to diagnose me if I in fact do have AS. Thankfully she listened and referred me.
I went to see Prof V last week. He immediately arranged for a MRI san of my uterus and 5 days later I had an operative hysteroscopy. There were no adhesions found in the uterus and 1 in the cervix. This adhesion was removed and an adhesion gel applied.
Prof V said this may be reason why I wasn't having a monthly withdrawal bleed with the adhesion blocking the outflow tract but he also said there could be a vascular problem with my uterus and he needs review my MRI scan report/images. I have no idea what he means but he said not to worry. I'll have more info at my follow up appointment on Thurs 6th December.
I know it's such a long post but this will bring you up to date on where I'm at! I'm looking forward to AF arriving in the next few weeks and then I can start the immune meds and book in my transfer, I'm hoping around February 2013.
Welcome to all the newbies and I'll have to go back and familarise myself with were everyone else is at in their journeys.

Oh Helen what a long journey you have been on! It just shows we know are bodies and you were right to keep pushing for answers. I hope AF is speedy in her appearance for you
Lillac - Is final blood test tomorrow?
April - Good Luck for transfer tomorrow, I seem to remember you have to go under for it, is that right?
Earthpower - Good Luck for intralipid on Sunday
Wow - lots is happening on here
AFM - PUPO Transfer went well yesterday and I have already had 3 embryos biopsied for CGH, the other are still growing and hoping for a couple more today.
Can someone answer a question for me? As advised by Dr M I started antibiotics five days prior to transfer, when do I stop them? Do I finish the bottle which will be about another five days?.....

Scruffy - YAY for being PUPO!! I'm not sure about the antibiotics. You can always call him, though if it were me I'd probably just take the rest of them as prescribed. Did he specify in the script for them?
HelenMac - Wow what a journey. You sound like me trying to find answers for my recurrent m/c. When you've got a gut feeling about something, I've learnt it's better off to go with it! I'm glad you found some answers and hopefully the immune treatment will do its thing!
Hello to everyone else :-)
27+1 today and all is well so far. Still in high risk category which means lots of hospital appts, but so far no high BP or signs of Pre-eclampsia!

High Natural Killer Cells
Helenmac I really like how you stuck to your guns about the absent AF. That must have been a stressful few weeks for you.
Scruffy all the best PUPO. Yay!! Did you have 1 or 2 transferred ?
Nat you surely must have a big bump at 27 weeks .. It's getting closer!
For those who asked about my protocol, I wasn't on an immune protocol but I was awaiting an appt with DrM . I have been stalking this thread as I was convinced I had immune issues due to 3 failed cycles.
In the meantime I did a FET using clomid + progesterone+ aspirin .
I had an Endometrial biopsy last cycle which was to aid implantation and it worked. I am very lucky. 😐
My BT was yesterday .. Beta 415, p4 116. Next one on Monday I'm hoping its the real thing
Oh and April wishing you all the best on the transfer

Lillac - My bump yesterday at 27 weeks :-) Yep its definitely there!

Oh Helen, thanks for coming back to update us, I have been thinking of you. I can only imagine what a stressful few weeks you have been through including an an operative hysteroscopy! Hope you are recovering well and the next appointment goes well with the specialist. Good on you for trusting your gut feeling and take the matter in your own hands. Hopefully you will soon be able to cycle again!
Scruffy, about antibiotics, I was told to take them 3 days before transfer (maybe because Im doing a FET) and then finish the whole pack (14 tablets altogether I think) mine was in tablet form.
Nat, very cute bump and great to hear all is going well!
AFM, I have discovered one more symptoms (maybe this is also due to Sydney's hot and humid weather, you can be the judge girls), I had an evening walk tonight as I was feeling bloated and then when I got home, I feel that both of my knee areas / or mid legs are swelling to the point I can't completely squat down. Does this happen to any of you who takes prednisone? As I have never taken it this long on this high dose so Im a bit concerned. so far I have been on it since 9th Oct 25mg then increase to 30mg but due to cycle cancellation, I dropped it down to 25mg and only just increased to 30mg since AF. So theoretically I have been on it for 7-8 weeks. Any advice or what is the longest course you have been on? I probably shouldn't be googling all the side effects and read those horrendous stories people are on prednisone even for different reasons.
Have a good night!
