Default Accidentally had cold and flu tablets :(

Ok, so I did a hpt over a week ago now and it was sooo faintly indicating that I was pregnant, but then subsequent ones were obviously negative. I'm 2 days late now and just did another test that's obviously positive.... But I feel so terrible, I'd started off over a week ago going "woohoo!" then went "oh well maybe next time" and now all I'm thinking about is the strong cold and flu tablets I've taken the past few days because I've had the flu..... I even had a few drinks on Saturday night and I'm always a sober Sally when I'm pregnant

Anyone know what those cold and flu tablets can do at such an early stage??!? I feel sick to the stomach thinking about what could happen.... Eeeek... And in between that feeling, I feel excited haha..

Don't stress about it. I did the same thing - got a BFN at 11 DPO, started getting crampy so when I started feeling sick I didn't hesitate to take some cold and flu tablets. Got my BFP a few days later. My DS is now a very happy healthy almost 9 month old.

The baby has a protective layer in the first 2months or so (so the doctor told me) I was 8 weeks when I found out n was taking strong medicine to stop vomiting.

I did pretty much exactly the same thing and the dr said not to worry about it at all - being so early he said that it was really too early for the embryo to be getting nutrients etc from me.

I know how your feeling...Two more weeks and my 12 week scan will confirm if I did any damage
