Default What is your toddler into?

DS is 17 months old and loves Thomas the Tank Engine. Once in the park a little boy was wearing a Thomas jumper and DS kept on following that boy around! Since then we got him his own jumper, bed, books, pillows, train sets etc.

Just curious, what are your toddlers into and how long did it last?

    Thanks

Not sure how long it will last but my 18 month old DD loves giggle and hoot and sesame street - in particular Elmo. I was surprised she liked sesame street as I had never really taken much notice of it.

He's 26 months now and.realised that 'thomas' is a train, he is in heaven.

Eta he is also mad about 'bubbas'

Vehicles. Trucks, diggers, fire trucks, police cars, mixers.

He carries one of his toy cars/trucks around all day long and even falls asleep holding them - it's whichever is his favourite of the day.

And he has only just started talking but if I see a concrete mixer and say "look it's a truck" he says "mi, mi" which means "mixer, mixer" (like geez mum can't you see it's a mixer, not just a truck".

Dd 16 months lives motor bikes and likes to imitate the sounds. Also loves babies and likes to shout baba when she sees one lol. She doesn't seem interested in tv so not into characters yet.

21mo is not so into toys at all, but music! He loves guitars, drums, trumpets and mummy singing we let him play with Daddy's drum sticks and he has his own ukulele (which has gone to bed with him). He can pick out instruments in songs now. His special music dominates the playlist now

DS (22 months) loves In the Night Garden, trains ( especially Chuggington) and loves his sport! He's really active, he much rather run around all day then sit down and draw with the exception of "quiet time" which is when I read to him. He loves it! We read a lot of Dr Suess
