    Mickey The Microwave.

I was 27 before I found out that not everyone refers to their Microwave as the Mickey.

Dyson is James... because df is on a first name basis with "him" (James Dyson is the owner of Dyson vacuum cleaners)

And not an appliance but lately df has been saying things are "with harry"... and every single time it takes me 15 minutes to work out he means its under the stairs.

At first I thought "who would name their appliances ??!!"

Then I remembered my old faithful Trudy the Kitchen Aid. She's such a help in the kitchen lol

The fridge is the 'coolerator', after a Chuck Berry song.

It's gotten to the point where DD wrote 'coolerator' under a picture of a fridge in her class, and I've asked a refrigerator repair man what it would cost to replace the compressor in the coolerator.

Sometimes I have trouble remembering it's original name.

My GPS gets called Walter because I imagine him to be like a butler and I think Walter is a very butlerish name. Haha
