    Default *spin off* silly names you gave household items/gadgets

    We have:

    Jane the GPS (because she sounds so English and so boring)

    James the GPS (so we can say "home, James!"

    Wally the robot vacuum cleaner (so we can ask "where's Wally?")

    We called the GPS in FIL's car Dorothy because it never shut up - just like DH's auntie Dorothy
