Default Oh I know it's petty but I'm going to say it anyway.

My neighbour keeps putting her rubbish in my bin on collection day.

I watched her yesterday from my loungeroom window, blithely walk up to my bin, put a full bin on top of it so that the lid could not be closed and then placed her green bin next to mine (because I didn't have any leaves etc to put out).

I know. It's petty. But it REALLY annoys me! *lol*

People often put rubbish like beer boxes in our work bin AFTER its been emptied for the day (still out there before I bring it in). As we never fill it I just think to myself well at least they aren't littering! Now if we always filled it I would be annoyed though. Does your bin person still empty it even if the lid isn't closed properly due to her rubbish?

That's really not cool. Go ask her why she's doing that!
Our neighbour would ask if we had room in our bin before doing that!
He has actually offered his bin for us to fill before as he knew we had held our ds's birthday party on the weekend and would have lots of rubbish.

My DH has clued him in as, yes, they can leave it behind if it's overflowing which they have on one occasion but came back to pick it up once we explained the situation. DH has approached the neighbour but she denies doing it. She's such a moll.

Like I said, it's petty in the scheme of things. But it's nice to see it in writing. *lol*

Just..I don't know...feels better to put it out there!

I'd make DH say something because I'm too chicken! Haha.

They are REALLY fussy here with rubbish and recycling and do frequent checks and if you get 3 red stickers you lose your bin for a certain amount of time.

So somebody doing that could potentially mean we could lose our rubbish service because who knows what they are putting in there!

That is hilarious that she denies it! My old neighbours did that but they were open about it at least.

    Your joking?
And then what are you supposed to do with rubbish?

DP and I were discussing this very thing on Wednesday, which is our bin day
If the bin has room, then who cares? But if the bin is already clearly overflowing then it would be annoying.
