As others have said it is definately possible. I had an emergency c-section 17mths ago (after 19hr labour and baby brow presentation). I have just given birth (VBAC) to our second son. It was the most amazing experience of my life. I did go into labour natrually a week early which was good because my OB would not induce VBAC and I was only going to be able to go 7days overdue before scheduling another C-sect. The labour was 5hrs and DS was delivered in 5 pushes - yes i tore and it hurt for a week but 100% worth it!
Find a provider that is supportive, do lots of reading - i bought the books 'Silent Knife' and 'VBAC handbook' and found out as much as i could in the months leading up to DS birth.
