Default Foods avoided while breastfeeding- solids

    Hi ladies,
My ds is now 5 1/2 months old and ive just started him on solids. From very early on I learnt that i cldnt eat broccoli or cauliflower as it gave him terrible wind and tummy pain from my breastmilk. My question is now that im starting solids should i introduce these or avoid them? I dont want to introduce them if its only going to cause ds discomfort but dont want to avoid these either. Help!
    Thanks in advance

The most recent information from allergists is to feed baby an unrestricted diet from the start of solids... try him on it, if he gets windy restrict it for a while. I give my dd a little broccoli mixed in with sweet potato, carrot and pear, she doesn't like anything mixed with cauliflower though!
