Fiona: I agree exactly with what Sonja said.
Kismet: I hope Evie is feeling better. You've had such a tough time lately. I hope your mum and your family are coping ok.
JFB: Same here with Henry. I think it may be teeth though. The last two nights he has slept with us from about 3am. Its school holidays so Jules is sleeping in his room and we cant be trying to resettle him all night and wake up Jules, so the little mite ends up with us. Unlike Ruby he LOVES sleeping with mum and dad. Hes probably just wrapt to be getting some one of one without his big sister taking all the attention

Hi girls Sorry I have been MIA, but have just been having a lovely break from it all. I have had such a journey over the last few weeks it's kind of weird. I think it has started with getting back into fitness & slowly it has merged into finally letting go of my Mum & Dad, I hadn't realized how grief stricken I really was. Anyway something other than my a**e has shifted along the way, so I'm feeling great for the first time in a really LOOOONG time can even run for 30mins without stopping.
JFB my cycle has started as of last week, I started Lucrin & prednisolone last week, booked for lipoidal flush on Wednesday & then just have to wait for AF to arrive. How is Evangeline going with her teeth?
Kel I love the photos of you & Rubybon FB, she I such a cutie & I can imagine she has lots of attitude, little girls seem to have more then the boys at this age.
Sonja how are you doing juggling work & kids? I sure take my hat off to you.
Fiona I hope Indy has recovered from whatever it was making him sick, he is soooo gorgeous.
Moong how are you enjoying your holiday?
A big hello to everyone I have missed & I promise to get on more often over the next few weeks to keep you all updated.

Amum - oh no nits! they are pesky little f%&*ers. I'm dreading Evie getting them. I remember being sent home from school in 2nd class with them once after a nit inspection, soooo embarrassing, all the kids were looking at me weirdly cos they knew. You need to tell your daycare. Also have you washed everything Kade has been in contact with? sheets, towels, absolutely everything. My mother has had some weird episodes lately that are indicating dementia but haven't got a diagnosis yet.
JFB / BK - bloody teeth, we've got 2 year molars bothering us, they have been the worst ones. Evie has been throwing alot of tantrums lately too and she's still got a bad cough.
We were back at hospital with mum on Friday and they picked up a very mild UTI and sent her home, nothing like that has been found before, she's on some medications to help her sleep and keep her calm so the last couple of days have been good, so nice to be home having a regular day. Now my brand new washing machine has crapped itself , extremely unhappy about that and they are going to know about it tomorrow!
hope you have all had a lovely weekend.

Amum we've managed to avoid nits so far. I absolutely dread it as both Lucy and Scarlett have long curly hair - it will be hell! they are both really good now at wearing their hair up thank god as it used to worry me sick as Lucy used to get dreadlocks her hair was such a disaster - I had images of shaving it all off if she got them. Touch wood we've been lucky so far. I hope they've gone.
Kismet glad to hear your mum has improved over the last few days. It must be so stressful.
JFB / BK I hope those toothies come through soon.
Nessie great to hear how well you're going with MB. 30 minutes is fantastic! I've decided not to officially join but to follow the recipes and food recommendations. I just can't find the time to exercise as much as the program requires - I do 3 and a 1/2 hours a week and I can't fit anything else in!
Hope everyone else is good. We're in the midst of school holidays so extremely busy now that I'm back at work. It's working out ok though as Lucy is friends with about 5 other girls whose parents work and we sent them off to the same activities on the same day, so she doesn't realise she's being kept busy - she just thinks it's a bunch of really fun play dates with her friends at gyms. Scarlett's been hell on wheels lately - lots of tantrums and unreasonable behaviors which we all find incredibly draining. She's been phenomenally good for so long but lately has been a real regression. She's really growing up and it's a struggle for her between not being a baby but not being allowed to do all the things her big sister can do (like ride in the front seat of the car). At least we've been at the beach a lot which tends to make everyone happy.

Kismet - Hope your mum feels better soon....and yep I've told daycare and washed EVERYTHING........my bed, jetts bed and kades bed as he goes everywhere, hats, blankets, sheets you name it iv'e washed it......I was so exhausted on Sunday after finding the little f*&%ers then having to wash every thing.....
Also went to our hairdresser and spent $50 on lice treatement
Jfb - Oh no........no more treats for you young lady...that is scary stuff.....at least you found out early....
Girls i have a ? about birth control (im going to go back on it due to my periods being all over the place - had them twice in 3 weeks..soooooooooooooo over it. I'm thinking of having the Merina (?) put in so i don't get a period...anyone got one or heard anything about them.....

Long time no talk! hope you and the little nuggets are all doing well.
Amum - Miss K had nits on and off all summer. My only phobia is crawly parasites, so I was beside myself and I tried everything, starting with the natural ones and working back to the yucky chemicals. The daily 'conditioner and comb' method was too much sitting still for a little kid and too gross for me.
There are now specialist nit salons that do everything, we have one at Robina, they offer a guarantee and the stuff they use is pretty nontoxic. However I found the only thing that worked for us longterm was Pyrenel, which is a pyrethrin based shampoo that you leave on for ten minutes. It got them right away and they didn't come back. I got it from the chemist.
JFB - tell your friend to join the Egg Donation Australia forum, I am on there now as I look to my next steps, it's a lovely little community. There is info and experience regarding just about every option you can imagine. Tell her to PM me when she joins, same username, and I will show her around.
Kismet - my Nan has dementia and we find UTIs really intensify the behaviours. I'm so sorry you're going through this.
Nessie - good luck with your cycle with the miracle man!
AFM - Day 2 of FET cycle for my little straggler frostie. After that - who knows? Foster care is on hold for now, a review was just done by an independent assessor and they found the Department solely to blame for our placement breakdown. I got an apology from the senior manager but I am still dirty on them, the case file was so full of lies, it turns my stomach that the workers get away with that conduct and the kids are the ones to suffer.
I would love to do a DE cycle with a local egg donor and I think I would do okay on EDA if I put up an ad, but budget is a factor. My body is responding to DHEA so there is still the possibility of one last stim in January. I will be 41 though, so pushing it a bit! I had the endometrial scratch/biopsy last week so hoping that does something for this FET. We will see.
I have decided I'm going all the way with this girls, motherhood or bust, so if you see me at age 50 flying off overseas with my egg donor for transferring to a surrogate, just wave to me in the sky, 'cos I'm already there!
Lots of love to you all, hug those dear little chubbers for me,
