I am just looking for any experiences or information on Westmead Public. I can't see myself going elsewhere as I live within walking distance. However Last thing I heard about it was when I did work experience in the postnatal ward in 1997 (pretty sure it may have changed a bit since).
So, Anyone got any info for me? I don't see it mention on here often.

Our experience Sept 2011 was great. We were under the special care team so had more frequent appointments and daily monitoring towards the end but The docs/ midwives the whole time were fabulous. It was annoying having to repeat your case every appointment to a new doctor but that saved us loads of money compared to private. I stayed for 2 days after my VB and had no issues at all. We will be using them again hopefully next year. Good luck!

Hi, I would love to know any feedback too as I'm unsure if I'll go westmead or black town...

I went for booking in yesterday. The midwife I saw was lovely, as was the blood stealing nurse as she listened to me about where to take it from (turns out it was in my file). I have my next appointment in 3 weeks. Where about do you live Faery? It's all done by boundries now.
