there is a company who buys stuff on your behalf and then ships the products to you, does anyone know the name of the company? or know of a company that does it for you? I know there are a few places who don't ship to Aus and this company will buy the stuff for you and ship it to you...

Hop Shop Go is the best I have come across. It is linked to your PayPal account.
It gives you a US address to use and have things shipped to you there. If you have been on a spree on several sites you can wait before getting items forwarded to you and get them to repackage them into the smallest possible parcel to try and save costs - generally it goes on weight but losing excess packaging can save money.
On sites that don't allow payment with an international credit card they will buy it on your behalf (you submit payment to them through your PayPal account) and then have it shipped to your HSG address and forward it to you.
