While we are talking olympics - did anyone see that there is a malaysian shooter competing who is 8 months pregnant. I would have thought that would be quite jarring for the baby in the late stages (ie, more baby for the amniotic fluid to cushion).

athletics? I like the fast races, not the slow ones.

I also like Waterpolo! But I only like watching the final matches for those sports.

I don't know much about the sport, but I doubt the guns would be particularly powerful ones

Evening ladies. I spent a good part of my Sunday arvo cleaning out the bathroom after hosting a very smelly baby ibis overnight, thankfully now in the care of WIRES. Currently feeding DD and hoping she'll be sleepy soon. Doesn't look promising

From memory when speaking some friends (eg random hot army men) Most experienced shooters Take the recoil in their Arms & Shoulders. so Unless she is shooting from the hip I would assume her bubs would be fairly safe from the Jolts & jarring.

Good on you for looking after the baby ibis! WIRES is a great organisation.

Lounging on the couch regretting letting the kids nap at 3.30pm, watching Freaks & Geeks while I wait for the Olympic Opening Ceremony to download (no broadcasted TV here, so totally not over it) and crocheting a cap to make a wig for the doll I'm making DD.

They are awesome, I've given them a baby wombat we found in his dead mother's pouch about a year ago (driver who'd hit her didn't even pull her off the road to prevent accidents, let alone check the pouch). The WIRES couple had so very many cute baby kangaroos in their house and yard
