Default The last week.. how did you handle it??

Okay my baby is due in 6 days & I can feel the days going slooooweeerrr and slllllllooooooooowwwwweeeeeeerrrrrrrrrr... now its driving me nuts!! All I can think about is I WANT MY BABY NOW!!
I had my 'show' over a week ago & was sure something was going to happen earlier on but as yet nothing.
So how did all you mummies handle the last week before your due date? What kept your mind sane??

Well I had a long last week with both girls as dd1 was 8 days late and dd2 12 days late. All I can say is keep busy and plan things to do every day, if baby comes and you have to cancel then it doesn't matter. I found the wait with dd2 much easier as I was so busy and my usual daily activities with dd1 to keep me going, though it's still annoying.
I also have terrible prelabour (dd1 5 min apart contractions for 2 weeks solid!, dd2 stronger contractions but more irregular, lots of shows with both) so that made it harder (and also esp with no1 made me think it could be any time soon, but she still took her time).
Basically just remember that baby can't stay in there forever and once it comes out you will forget those last week/s.
Good luck and hope baby comes soon.
    Zan

I didn't really go slow for me at all, maybe coz Hayley was born at 37 weeks, I didn't make it to 40 weeks anyway.

I went to 41 weeks and 2 days before going into labour.....I went swimming with my dad nearly every day. It got me out of the house, kept me sane, and kept me fit!
DP also did his best to not work too much (his job is very demanding) and we would go for a walk together and the night before I went into labour he took me out for dinner.
