    Default Family- (sister) vent

I don't normally vent in a forum like this but for some silly reason I am abit depressed now.

Ok so my sister asked if she could take my DS for a hour or so to her friends that has kids, all week I have been saying we will see what we are doing, being the weekend we normally do something with DS because DP works all week & weekends are his time with DS.

Anyway I told her tonight no she can not have DS because we are going to go to take DS to Perth. DS is staying at his grandmas tonight & DP worked today so has not seen DS since last night (Friday) so DP wanted to take DS out for day, nice weather & for being a good boy. My sister has gotten sh*Ty that we said no & said that don't bother asking her to babysit again cos she asked last Sunday if she could take him & once again we said no.

We never ask sister to babysit because I am always home & do not need him to be babysat. I think it's because I let him stay at our mums house for the night but that is only because he loves it there & he wants to stay not because we want/need a break. DS is 3 in October. Sorry for venting but it just annoyed and upset me.

it sounds like she wants to have some time with her nephew which is really sweet of her.

I can understnad that your DH gets little time with him too though.

I guess she wants to feel important and welcome in his life, a lovely thing for an aunty to want to do.

If there is no reason you don't want her to see him...maybe sparing an hour or so for her on a regular basis would be a really good thing. She see's you letting your parents have time "because he loves it there", perhaps she feels that he would love time with her too if given the chance.
