    Default Epilepsy/ seizures

My four month old daughter has been having seizures since 8 weeks. They still have no idea what's causing them. 3 medications have 'failed' and, although they are small, she still has around 15 per day. I'm finding regular support networks (child health nurse/ early intervention parenting service) unhelpful and irrelevant to our situation. She has also started on the ketogenic diet. Has anyone had experience with any of this? Where did you go for support?

My daughter has a seizure disorder its part of her over all metobolic issues, she is 6 years old now and is on 4 lots of seizure meds a day and still has absent seirues she will likely always ahve them but nothing prolonged now, she really mainly has her drop seizures now and her myclonic seizures whenshe is unwell, but unterestingly she had a heap the other night setting of ehr apnea alarms just cause she was over tired.

It can be hard work getting a med combo that works and the mood changes with meds can really suck but you will get there in the end

suport wise just meeting other mums at the hospital really xx
