DS and I are going to wake up early on Saturday morning to watch the Opening Ceremony. I'm thinking I'll do a morning spread with the Olympic colours.
So, I need realtively cheap food ideas for the following colours;

Black: Fried field mushrooms. Not quite black, but close enough.
Red: fried tomatoes
Green: green sauce to go on top of eggs/tomatoes
Blue: Blueberries (Muffins or pancakes - then you can use frozen blueberries which aren't as expensive)

We had a soccer world cup party and we made very basic icing (icing sugar and milk) and dyed it and then used it to decorate milk arrowroot biscuits.
