    Default Olympic Opening Ceremony Party

    DS and I are going to wake up early on Saturday morning to watch the Opening Ceremony. I'm thinking I'll do a morning spread with the Olympic colours.

    So, I need realtively cheap food ideas for the following colours;

    Black

    Red

    Green

    Blue

    Yellow

    Great idea!

    Black: Fried field mushrooms. Not quite black, but close enough.
    Red: fried tomatoes
    Green: green sauce to go on top of eggs/tomatoes
    Blue: Blueberries (Muffins or pancakes - then you can use frozen blueberries which aren't as expensive)
    Yellow: Eggs

    We had a soccer world cup party and we made very basic icing (icing sugar and milk) and dyed it and then used it to decorate milk arrowroot biscuits.
