My name is Elli. I'm a Registered Nurse and have just started my midwifery training. As a part of my course I'm required to complete 'continuing care experiences' with women who are less than 35 weeks pregnant.
This would mean attending appointments throughout your pregnancy, being at your birth and joining you at follow up appointments with your new baby. This is a free service aimed at providing you with extra support throughout your journey to parenthood whilst also being a valuable learning experience for me. Having a familiar face around can be extremely reassuring as you meet an array of different healthcare professionals.
If you or someone you know would be interested in having an extra support person during this exciting and sometimes overwhelming time please dont hestitate to email me at email@example.com for more information!
