    So I spoke with HR today who confirmed I will get the company paid leave again, thank god! Thanks everyone for your advice.

    Feeling a little more relaxed about everything now - also had a dating scan today and I'm 6w5d. DH still in denial, so that's my biggest issue at the moment

    That's the problem - he won't talk about it! He has acted as though it hasn't happened. I'm giving him a few more days to absorb and process it before I say 'suck it up, smile & be grateful for our miracle'. I'm still in shock too, but we need to accept & embrace it to enjoy the journey.

    Considering your slim chances of falling naturally I would embrace this new baby as a true miracle!!!

    Congratulations!!!!!

    You will cope fine with the age gap, I'm sure your DS and new bubs will be great friends!!

    Your DH is processing the shock, try give him some space and he too will see what a miracle this new baby is!
