So with pinterest... what's so exciting? Do you just think of something to look for and go from there or what?

I have always loved this site: http://www.stumbleupon.com/
It allows me to install an addon to my FireFox browser and after I setup a profile and select my specific interests, I just hit the button "stumble" and it will dig up a page that matches one of my interests.
I have found many many great pages with this useful little addon.

Lots of good ideas but yeah, I have the same question as Nagari. What's the deal with Pinterest?

There's categories. Hair & Makeup, Fashion, Geeky stuff, Humour, Fitness, science, pretty much anything you can think of. You just browse and browse endlessly, it comes up with great links to other sites, kinda like StumbleUpon, or just really great tips, suggestions or even jokes with the actual picture (or pin) itself. Or you can browse everything at once. Using your own Pinterest account you create boards of things that interest you, for example I have a fitness motivation board, tattoo inspiration board, dream home board... and you pin the things you like that you find in the categories to your boards. I know it's kinda hard to see the appeal when it's described to you but seriously, once you start you can't stop!
