And I thought Zoo managed to regularly scrape the bottom of the barrel, they managed to dig deeper.

How do they manage to get so low. Disgusting.

They're not forcing anyone to submit a picture. They're not following asylum seekers around, holding them down and taking photos of them. You take a photo of yourself and send it in for large cash prize.
I've been in Zoo and they always sent an email asking for written permission to have the pictures printed. Once they even followed it up with a phone call, and the lady was very nice about explaining all of the terms and conditions of print to me.
Women submitting pictures know exactly what they're doing...where's the 'force' and 'exploitation' in it?

The most disgusting thing I have heard in age, simply deplorable.
Did you even read it Toughlove - they are talking about the way they have trivialised their experiences, which they have. And it is disgusting.
The competition reads: "if you’ve swapped persecution for s-xiness, we want to shoot you (with a camera — relax!)".
How on earth is that even funny?
"Many of them lost husbands, children and other family members. They still suffer symptoms of post-traumatic stress, including frequent nightmares, flashbacks, depression and other associated health problems.
To trivialise and exploit these incredibly traumatic experiences is utterly appalling. That’s why I’m calling on ACP Magazines to demand ZOO issue an apology and immediately scrap this disgusting competition"

So they want women's accounts of their sexual assault to escape violence - by having photographs of them with no clothes on for money? How is that even any better than those who persecuted them in the first place?
Totally, totally different kettle of fish to the average privilidged Australian who wants to make a quick easy buck.
