This is just for curiosity's sake really.
I was wondering for those that temp, what's the average difference between your BBT in the morning and in the evening?
I know that for a BBT to be accurate it needs to be done after 3-4 hours of uninterrupted sleep which is fine, that's when I do it.
So really just interested, what's the average difference for you if you know it?

I'm not really sure. There's a bbt adjuster website that can adjust the bbt to what it would have been at the time you usually take it. It adjusts up to 12 hours I think

Do you just mean my normal temp when I'm sitting around? I don't know, I've never actually taken it in the evening! I'll let you know later (when I can be bothered getting off my rear)

I used to take my temp at all sorts of times of day after naps if I managed to fit in a nanna nap lol. If I was pre-ovulation my temp was always below 36.68 and post ovulation was always above this. Most of the time I got the same temp no matter what time of day I tested or even if I had or hadn't had the required rest time. The only thing that really affected it was a night out drinking, always made my temp higher the next day.
I might just be lucky though and charting is more accurate if u take ur temp at the same time every day. I set my alarm for 5am everyday for 13months just so I could take my temp. So happy I'm not charting anymore it can be hard work and very time consuming!

Ok, I finally remembered! My temp this morning after first waking etc was 36.46. My temp right now when I've been up and moving around for hours? 36.43! What's that about??
