Ok, so I need the low down on brazilian waxing. I have had it done once and I swore that I would never get it done again as it hurt sooooo much but the time has come.....
I find that because I have started running that i would like to be a little more "******lined" down below. It would feel less sweaty (tmi) and cleaner I think.
So I need to know how often it had to be done between waxes and do you need to let it grow to a particular length??
And what do I ask for, I want a strip or a triangle left but nothing else, is that a braziliam or something else.

Wax on. Wax Off. Brazilian waxing 101.

I used to go every four weeks. Hair needs to be at least 5mm.
However, I had laser two years ago and RAVE about it. It's expensive but when I add up what I spent on Brazilians over all those years, if I'd had it done at first I would have saved a bundle. Now I am smooth all year round and never have to worry about it again

So, if i don't want to be totally bare what do i ask for though? Is that just a bikini wax? I want to be waxed underneath and there a few stray hairs near my bottom.

Find someone who knows what they are doing! It's not something you want them to stuff up and I've heard horror stories, find someone who s recommended to you. Agree with PPs you need to go every 4-6 weeks. Mine costs $50 and I get everything off, including bum crack. It takes about 20 minutes and involves some tweeting if there's stubborn hairs.
How much is the laser?

For that price I also got my underarms done. They do tend to grow back a little, just the pale 'fairy hairs' as laser will only kill dark hairs. I shave my underarms maybe once every 8 weeks and that's it.

Hi I usually book in for a Brazilian and then explain what I want. I find some places have differing opinions on what is waxed with a 'brazilian'.
The franchise 'Brazilian butterfly' is pretty good, and on their menu they are quite specific from x wax to xxx(x??) wax. Check out their website.
If I had the $$ i'd look into laser as I'm too lazy to get waxed often enough.

Brazilian butterfly or essentiAl beauty are awesome! There more you have it done the easier it gets... A good waxer will have you do a breathing technique where you breathe in and hold it and blow out hard as if blowing through a straw when the pull the wax off which really helps!!
