    Default Stupid moments...

So I was putting DS2 to bed tonight when we had a knock on the door... DH answered and came to get me, explaining that there were two policemen here who needed to speak to me immediately.

Turns out in my hurry to get home today I'd left the petrol station without paying. :embarased:

Thankfully the nice policemen were very understanding when they saw my look of complete bewilderment

Anyone else have a stupid moment to share? Would make me feel better!

My brother did that once, its a small town so the petrol station owner called mum lol he was a grown adult at the time and they called mum cos they knew her number.

I've done a full scale search of my bed looking for ds before once he was in his cot and the other time right next to me on my pillows :/

I've called my cats dss name and ds the cats name before as well.

Mum: 'K you're on your phone'
Me: 'what are you talking about? I had my wallet, keys and phone in my hand and my phone isnt there'
Mum: 'K you are ON your phone, you are TALKING to me on your phone'
    Me: '........OMG .......bye mum!!'

That must have given you quite a fright! I accidentally stole something the other day too by putting it on the pram and forgetting and walking out with it. I realised just after I walked out it was really embarrassing going back in and explaining.

I have also asked my kids in a panic where the baby was, to be told... 'Mum you dork your holding her'. They like to tell this story to random people so I get to re-live it often!
