I've just had my dating scan which was done via a normal ultrasound and it dated me at 6wks 3 days today.
Last week i had an internal ultrasound which had me dated at 7 weeks 1 day today. Does anyone have an answer as to which would be the more accurate scan?

I think that The internal scan is more accurate during early pregnancy.

In my experience, the internal. Usually they can't even see anything on an external for me (but I have a retroverted uterus!). I had both last week, and you could only see a sac on the external ultrasound, but then went internal and saw the bubs with heartbeat measuring exactly what I thought (I knew exact day of O)

I think it depends a fair bit on how the bub is laying aswell. Sometimes they are more stretched out then others. In 1 ultrasound they were initially worried about the size but then Peanut uncurled its neck a bit and they could measure it properly. It's hard when they are that little.

I was told that they could see more and tell more from an internal ultrasound usually compared to a normal abdominal one so I would go with the internal but you could always ask your GP
